The clover, or shamrock, is one of Ireland's most iconic symbols, often associated with luck, faith, and Irish heritage. Traditionally believed to have been used by St. Patrick to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity, its three leaves symbolize faith, hope, and love, with a rare fourth leaf representing luck.
The horseshoe represents luck.  It is generally hung outside your home on your door .
 
The shoe is hung with the open side facing upwards so that luck with fill your home.
